Made in Canada, for Canada
Built around how Canadian money works.
RRSP, TFSA, FHSA, RESP, RRIF and LIRA, each marked for how a withdrawal is taxed.
Canadian dollars throughout, with US dollar accounts shown in both currencies.

If your bank lets you download a file, it works. Big five, credit union or online-only.
What it does
Know where your money went, to the cent.

How it works
Fifteen minutes a week. Your bank does the typing.
Each bank's file is set up once. After that, an upload is a drop and a click.
Upload a file
Drop in the CSV, OFX or QFX file from your bank, or a PDF statement. Rows already there are skipped and listed. Changed your mind? Undo the whole upload.

What you get
The questions a household actually asks.
Am I on budget this month?
A monthly plan per category, and how far through it you are against how far through the month.
What are we paying for?
$14.99 a month is $179.88 a year.Subscriptions shown both ways, with any price that went up.
What is the mortgage costing?
Each payment split into interest, which is spending, and principal, which is money you keep. Worked out from your loan terms.
What are we worth?
Everything you own minus everything you owe, month by month: the house, the car, the RRSP and the line of credit.
What's it worth after tax?
An RRSP dollar is not a TFSA dollar. Net worth is shown before and after the tax a withdrawal would cost.
Where did it go?
Spending by category and merchant over 6, 12 or 24 months. Every bar opens the transactions inside it.
What it notices
It tells you what's worth a look. Then it stays quiet.
No streaks, no scores, no confetti. A short list of things that changed, each with a link to the transactions behind it.
- A price went up
Streaming plan went from $16.99 to $18.99 a month. That's $227.88 a year.
- A charge hasn't arrived in two months
Home insurance usually comes on the 3rd. The last one was 3 Jul 2026. A payment may have failed.
- TFSA is out of date
Its balance is as of 30 Jun 2026. Upload a newer file or statement to bring it up to date.
- 23 new transactions to sort
Sort one, and the others like it are offered in the same click. The badge disappears when there is nothing left.
Privacy
No bank login. Ever.
Apps that connect to your bank ask for your banking password, or hand it to a company in the middle. Mammoth Money never asks. You download the file, you choose what goes in.
- Your password stays with your bankMammoth Money cannot move money, pay bills or see anything you haven't uploaded.
- Statements are read on your deviceA PDF statement is opened in your browser. The file itself is never sent anywhere.
- AI is off until you turn it onOne switch for the household. When it is on, names and addresses are removed and account numbers cut to their last four digits first.
- One household, everyone equalInvite your partner. Everyone in the household sees every account, so nobody keeps the books alone.
Who it's for
For households that want to know, not guess.
"We both spend from the same accounts."
Invite your partner. Everyone in the household sees every account and can sort what's new, so nobody keeps the books alone.
"I want to see the whole picture."
Chequing to mortgage, TFSA to the cottage you own half of. Net worth before tax and after it, month by month.
"I don't trust apps with my bank login."
You don't have to. Mammoth Money works from the files your bank gives you, and reads PDF statements on your own device.
Questions
Before you join.
Which banks does it work with?
Any bank or credit union that lets you download your transactions as CSV, OFX or QFX, which is all of the big ones and most of the small ones. PDF statements work too, for the balance they state.
Isn't downloading files more work?
A few minutes a week. Each bank's file is set up once; after that, an upload is a drop and a click. In return you get figures you can check against your bank, and nothing silently falls behind.
Does it use AI?
Only if your household turns it on. It can suggest names and categories, and read a statement layout it doesn't know yet. Before anything is sent, names and addresses are removed and account numbers are cut to their last four digits.
Can I bring in years of history?
Yes, as far back as your bank's files go. Rows you've already uploaded are recognised and skipped.
Does it work on a phone?
It runs in any current browser, phone included. Sorting a lot of transactions at once is quicker on a laptop, where every action has a keyboard shortcut.
